Senior Principal Engineer Digital Design (f/m/div) role at Infineon Technologies – Dublin, Ireland.

Join our team in Dublin as a Senior Principal Engineer for Digital Design, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in Infineon’s Automotive division. You will define and deploy processes and methodologies in the field of Digital IP Design and work with a team of experts to drive innovation, strategy, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Contribute substantially to the IP strategy in the field of Digital Design
• Work as part of a team responsible for infrastructure, methodology and automation for IP Concept, Design and Verification
• Facilitate and encourage innovation across boundaries, both within and outside the IP design organization
• Observe and proactively act on external and internal trends
• Coach & challenge new ideas, balance risks and opportunities, and drive decisions
• Collaborate with engineers and engage with senior managers and their senior technical leadership

Your Profile

You are a leader with a strong background in Digital Design and a proven track record of driving complex projects forward. You are strategic, capable of analyzing intricate problems from multiple angles, and able to leverage your network of experts to drive innovative solutions and continuous improvement. You communicate effectively to influence others and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A University Degree within STEM (Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics)
• At least 15 years of relevant Digital Design experience from Digital IP design
• Expert understanding of Digital Design Methodologies and flows
• Proven ability to develop complex digital designs targeting high speed and/or low power, with in-depth understanding of the SoC implementation flow
• Proven ability to solve complex problems by involving expert networks and driving continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey ideas verbally and in writing and to influence others
• Ability to manage time productively with multiple tasks and priorities
• In-depth understanding of Analog IP Design and Integration
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
