Senior Product Manager (App) (m/w/d) Responsibilities

Define, own, and communicate the overarching product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Sportstech Live as a connected fitness platform Act as the central product owner for Sportstech Live, ensuring it is built and perceived as one coherent product, not a collection of isolated features Translate business goals, user needs, and technical constraints into a clear, outcome-driven roadmap Prioritize initiatives across core domains: Core App & Platform Experience Workouts & Content UX Device & IoT Integrations AI-driven features & personalization Community & engagement Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and validation to launch and continuous optimization Functionally lead and coach Product Managers based in India; ensure clear ownership, alignment, and shared product understanding across locations Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX/UI Design, Data, Growth, Community, QA, and external partners Act as the central interface between management, product, design, and engineering; prepare decision documents, product reviews, and regular status updates Drive discovery and validation through user research, usability testing, and data analysis Monitor and optimize key product metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, and conversion Balance speed, quality, and long-term scalability in all product decisions Ensure high product quality through active participation in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and release decisions Identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early and make informed product decisions Requirements & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in: Consumer-facing apps Platform or SaaS products Connected / IoT or hardware-enabled products Proven experience owning product strategy and roadmaps for complex, multi-surface products (mobile, device, web) Experience in functional leadership of Product Managers or ownership of large, cross-functional product areas Strong understanding of agile product development (Scrum / Kanban) and close collaboration with engineering teams Strong strategic and systems-thinking mindset; ability to structure complex problems and make them understandable Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience using analytics tools (Power BI, Metabase or similar) Very good understanding of UX and user-centric product development (without needing to be a designer) Experience working with international, distributed teams Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a clear, pragmatic, and decisive style Fluency in English (German is a plus, not required) Genuine interest in sports, fitness, health, or longevity Nice to Have

Experience with connected fitness, IoT, or hardware-software platforms Experience with subscriptions, recurring revenue models, or digital ecosystems Background in consumer apps, fitness, health tech, e-commerce, or SaaS Experience with AI-driven features, personalization, or recommendation systems Experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and iterative optimization Familiarity with app store optimization (ASO), performance optimization, or accessibility Prior experience working with teams in India or other international tech hubs Personally active lifestyle (e.g. regular gym-goer or sports enthusiast) What we offer you
