Senior Project Manager - Automotive Financing Strategy (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Consumer Financing Strategy (f/m/x) to join our Financing & Value-Added Services Team, responsible for financing, insurances, and after-sales services in the nine markets where Autohero currently operates. Your role will focus on driving consumer financing performance, developing new offerings, and delivering innovative consumer finance solutions that make purchasing pre-owned cars easier than ever.

Position within the company and managerial responsibilities: you will collaborate closely with Product, Finance, Tech, and Marketing teams based in our Berlin headquarters, and maintain regular contact with local management across our nine European subsidiaries.

Job Description

• Drive commercial performance of consumer financing and private leasing for Autohero customers.
• Design and optimize financial products: pricing, interest rates, and partnership models.
• Lead process implementation and operational improvements for finance offerings.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Marketing, Legal, and external partners to launch new customer solutions.
• Use data-driven insights to develop products that transform the online car-buying experience.
• Act as the central point of contact between internal teams and financing partners.

Qualifications

• Autonomy and a demonstrated track record of working with high-level stakeholders at an international scale. Passion and motivation for moving tasks forward and taking ownership of topics. A strong work ethic and a desire to achieve impact and results beyond a 9-5 schedule.
• Very good analytical skills and the ability to manage priorities to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Up to five years of relevant work experience (car credit and/or private leasing) – working for a captive or independent car financing provider, preferably with international scope.
• Proven track record in car financing and/or leasing product design, pricing, and process implementation.
• Completed studies in finance, business administration, engineering, computer science, or a comparable degree programme.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Full proficiency in English is mandatory; every other European language is a plus.
