Senior Project Manager HSE & Q International Railway Operations (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a newSenior Project Manager HSE & Q International Railway Operations (f/m/d) to join us at DB International Operations in Berlin as soon as possible. Based in Berlin, you will be required to travel to the respective locations for exclusive occasions.

• Preparation of the part Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) for bid applications within railway sector
• Development of an efficient and effective concept for HSEQ including cost calculation and implementation
• Technical Leadership of small teams with your expertise, to support the HSEQ part for bid applications and collaborative cooperation with and support of other disciplines like finance, HR, Legal, bid management
• Coordination and collection of supplied content from other experts or providers from internal and external sources
• Elaboration of a safety concept, incl. a SMS, risk management, environmental management and quality management for ramp-up and certification on site and realization in case of a successfully won bid
• Implementation of the planned HSEQ concepts and achievement of a safety certificate and railway license in case of a successful bid
• Conducting safety audits and reviews on the HSQE and Security Performance within their departments and seek ways to continually improve; securing the emergency management concept and inspection of HSEQ events including report and measures
• Promote a good HSEQ culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in in engineering, science, quality management, environment management or similar
• Profound knowledge of theory and application of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 and substantial experience and knowledge in railway sector, especially with requirements regarding HSEQ
• Solid understanding of railway processes and RAMS, especially EN 50126 in theory and ap-plication, is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural and international environments
• Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent in English (minimum C1); basic knowledge of German (minimum A2) is required; additional languages are an advantage
• Motivation for international business travelling on a temporary basis
