The salary range, depending on experience, is between €90,000 and €115,000 gross per year.

Operating at the forefront of ESA and EU-funded programs, the organization plays a key role in strengthening Europe’s strategic independence in space through innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale ESA/EU-funded space projects
- Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and milestone achievement
- Coordinate multidisciplinary and multicultural teams across engineering, science, and policy domains
- Ensure compliance with ESA, EUSPA, EU regulations, and export-control requirements
- Conduct risk management and performance tracking to secure short- and long-term objectives
- Own customer and stakeholder relationships across Europe
- Provide strategic leadership aligned with company and EU space policy goals
Qualifications
- 8+ years of project management experience within the European space sector
- Proven track record leading large-scale ESA/EU-funded programs (e.g., Galileo, Copernicus, Horizon Europe)
- Demonstrated ownership of complex projects, including coordination of ESA and external stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of ESA, EUSPA, EU regulatory frameworks and grant funding mechanisms
- Experience with export control regulations
- Excellent English skills; German is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard project management tools
- Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable
- Background in systems engineering, satellite technology, or space infrastructure is a strong advantage
