Senior Python Developer (Backend Services) About emma emma is an end-to-end platform for cloud management, combining a cloud-agnostic approach with comprehensive AI-powered capabilities to enhance infrastructure performance and optimize costs. With emma, organizations can seamlessly navigate between different cloud providers and environments, unlocking the full potential of their cloud investments. We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and maintain backend services that power the analytical features of our platform. You will work on three key types of services:API Services – Handle REST-like requests, execute database queries, and return structured responsesIntegration Services – Connect to cloud providers, fetch data, and manage credentials/accessInternal Services – Manage product configurations, user permissions, and administrative workflows. Initially, you will be the sole Python developer on the team, so we need someone self-driven who can own the entire development lifecycle – from architecture to deployment and monitoring. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain FastAPI-based RESTful servicesManage efficient connections to PostgreSQL and ClickHouse (for OLTP and OLAP flows)Build cloud integrations (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI)Set up CI/CD pipelinesEnsure test coverage, monitoring, and logging Technical RequirementsFour or more years of commercial experience with Python backend developmentStrong experience with FastAPIHands-on experience with ClickHouse, Kafka, Docker Also welcomedExperience with ETL pipelinesExperience collaborating with ML teams
