As a (Senior) Quantitative Developer (m/f/d) Q-World , you will be part of a successful Quant team offering innovative software solutions for the financial industry. You will work with Microsoft Azure technologies to extend and improve a web service for financial risk figure computation in a cloud-based architecture, ensuring correctness, high performance and adaptability to new customer needs.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

• Implementation of new customer requirements in our proven capital-market software solution
• Development of model adjustments reflecting changes in regulations
• Implementation of new financial product payoffs or extension of existing ones to support customer product innovations
• Maintenance and bugfixes for our software
• Investigation of production issues and second level support
• Fun at work and continuous professional development

Your Ticket

• A university degree with a master’s degree in computer science, physics or mathematics
• At least two years of experience in the financial industry with a focus on structured financial products and/or derivatives
• A very good understanding of object-oriented software development, preferably .NET, C#
• Interest in using modern software architecture and tools including cloud-computing, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Shell Scripting / PowerShell, SQL, Unit / Regression / Integration Testing
• Quick learning skills, a spirit of innovation and a commitment to quality
• Very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written
• A healthy sense of humour
