As the industry has increasingly pose higher and higher requirements on cyber security and system resilience, and the industry continuously evolves into more intelligent and ecological direction, Huawei needs to build more advanced test engineering capabilities to continuously ensure that Huawei products meet the industry\'s high trustworthiness requirements.

We hope to build Huawei\'s next-generation leading high-trust test technologies and engineering capabilities based on trustworthy test engineering concepts, and successfully practice them in Huawei’s 5G and other ICT and consumer products products to help Huawei’s products maintain the best competitiveness in the industry.

Your role

Join us as a

Senior Research Engineer in acoustic and electromagnetic wave propagation modeling for 6G ISAC and smart home - (18-Month Leased Labor)(m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Participate in internal research projects and cooperation projects with externals on acoustic and electromagnetic wave propagation modeling.
  • Take ownership of specific research topics in the domain of acoustic and electromagnetic wave propagation modeling.
  • Participate in getting insights and state-of-the-art overview in the relevant domain.
  • Research on and develop wave propagation modelling methodologies and algorithms.
  • Research on and develop post-processing and pre-processing methodologies and algorithms to adapt models for engineering applications.
  • Participate in developing long-term research plans for future and advanced wave propagation modelling framework.

Your areas of expertise

  • Master degree in high frequency, acoustics engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunication or other related fields.
  • Experience with acoustic and EM modelling tools or methods is a plus.
  • Good planning and organizing skills with well-structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking is required.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with team spirit and intercultural awareness for European and Asian culture.
