Senior Sales Lead (Tech)

Overview

I’m currently partnering with a high-growth HR technology business to hire a Senior Lead Payroll Sales professional to lead and scale a team focused on driving payroll adoption across an established customer base.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role where you’ll combine team development, consultative sales, and go-to-market execution within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

The Role

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of 6–7 senior Account Executives focused on complex mid-market deals (500–2,000 employees)
• Drive consistent revenue performance against monthly and quarterly targets
• Coach and elevate team capability, building a high-performance sales culture
• Use data and KPIs to optimise conversion, sales cycles, and overall performance
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales engineering, and leadership to execute go-to-market strategies

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years in B2B SaaS sales, plus 3+ years leading teams
• Strong track record in complex, consultative sales environments
• Experience building teams and implementing scalable sales processes
• Solid grasp of sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger, GAP) and tools (e.g. Salesforce)
• Commercially astute with the ability to navigate enterprise buying processes
• Fluent in German and English
