Senior SAP Basis Engineer*

Your tasks

• Ensuring the smooth operation and support of SAP Basis
• Processing incidents and changes
• Performing error analyses and troubleshooting
• Maintaining and further developing the SAP Basis system landscape ECC6 (cloud and on-premise)
• Supporting the planning and implementation of the transformation of the SAP landscape to the cloud (SAP 4/HANA)

What sets you apart

• Completed technical training with in-depth knowledge in the fields of computer science, mathematics, communications engineering, or a degree in a scientific-technical field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, communications engineering) with several years of professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of the SAP NetWeaver application server and the technologies based on it
• Experience in 1st/2nd level support and incident management
• Confident use of the SAP ECS Workspace and the processes mapped therein to ensure SAP cloud operations
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) administration and practical experience in the use of certificates
• Proficient knowledge of common Internet protocols, including OData, SAML, HTTP, HTTPS, and REST, which are relevant to SAP
• Business fluent written and spoken English
