(Senior) SAP WM Consultant

Onsite/Remote: Hybrid (3 days remote / 2 days onsite)

This candidate MUST have the following:

• Extensive hands on knowledge within SAP WM (ECC6.0 and/or S/4 HANA)
• Experience in EDI and IDOC
• German and English Language (B1/B2)

The candidate DOES NOT need knowledge in, but would be advantageous if they had experience in:

• Portuguese and/or any other European Language
• S/4 HANA Experience (Min 1 E2E)

Role

My client, a global end customer based in Köln, Germany are looking to recruit a (Senior) Consultant to assist in the area of SAP WM to come in and take responsibility for their transition from ECC6.0 to S/4 HANA Globally

Your role as the (Senior) Consultant will expect you to be a contributing factor to different phases of the implementation lifecycle. You will be heavily involved in business process consulting for internal projects as well as internal customers. You will identify the issues, propose and develop the solution and play an important role in the development, configuration and release of the solution. You will also assist in the transition and development into SAP EWM

You will guide teams, both internals and externals on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope.

You will have the opportunity to propose value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the developing needs for their worldwide landscape.

Some of the responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Perform Business Requirement discussions and solutioning in SAP WM system.
• Create and analyse SAP WM functional specs
• Configuration of SAP WM, define and execute tests scenarios, training of key users and or business users
• Identifying the inbound processes with and without quality inspection from vendors, outbound process for STO and Customer Shipments and internal warehouse movements
• Working on the material handling systems and integrating them to SAP WM solutions.
• Attend and performs meetings and workshops
• Work and liaise with Onshore/Offshore/Nearshore teams
• You will participate in support level activities including 2nd and 3rd level
