As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. This is where our products and services are developed, tested and improved.

The STACKIT Access Management Team plays a crucial role in securing our cloud infrastructure and cloud services. Working closely with various stakeholders, we ensure our customers' authorization goals are met in a highly scalable environment. We focus on the latest security technologies such as Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) and Service-to-Service communication.

We are looking for a motivated Senior Software Engineer to help our team continuously improve security standards in cloud computing.

Your Responsibilities

You will review code contributions and architecture proposals from your colleagues to ensure the quality and future viability of our solutions
You will implement secure, thoroughly tested code and maintain our existing software stack
You'll actively exchange ideas with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the reliability and availability of our services
You will design and improve our software architecture with a focus on availability, resilience, scalability, and performance
You will automate operational tasks wherever possible and ensure our software can scale efficiently to meet growing demands

Your Profile

You are proficient in professional software development methodologies – from development standards to build and release management
You have been significantly involved in the development of complex software systems and bring profound experience in this area
You have knowledge of backend development, ideally with languages like Go, Java, or Kotlin
You are confident in working with interfaces such as REST and gRPC
You enjoy sharing your knowledge with other developers and growing together as a team
