Senior Software Engineer - Technology Partnerships, RoboticsPermanent, full time · Dresden · Travel up to 50% The opportunity,We are partnering with a high growth robotics scale up in Germany that is expanding its engineering team in Dresden. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of technology partnerships around their robotics platform. This is a rare chance to join a deep tech company right in the middle of the robotics, automation and IIoT ecosystem. You will combine hands on software engineering with close collaboration with external partners, and see your work land directly in real industrial environments. You will act as the technical link between the core platform and an ecosystem of software, sensor and peripheral partners. Part of your time is spent designing and building integrations, and part is spent enabling partner teams to build on top of the platform themselves. Fluency in German and English is essential, and you should be comfortable travelling to partners, events and the Dresden office up to 50% of your time. What you will be doing,You will own the technical side of partner integrations and make sure they deliver real value for end customers. Typical responsibilities include: Turning partner and customer requirements into clear technical concepts, integration designs and workflows.Implementing and extending APIs and SDKs, building prototypes and proof of concepts, and making sure systems talk to each other reliably.Supporting partner engineering teams throughout their integration journey, from first design discussions through rollout and beyond.Working closely with internal Product, Engineering, Partnerships and Customer Success teams to prioritise and shape integrations that matter.Leading technical conversations with partner tech leads, representing the platform architecture and explaining how to build on top of it in a scalable way.Producing internal and external technical documentation, examples and guides that make it easier for others to integrate and maintain solutions. What you bring,You do not need to tick every box, but you should recognise yourself in most of these points: Solid background in software engineering, ideally including both backend and frontend experience.Experience working in cloud environments and with modern frameworks and tooling.Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs and how to design and implement integrations between different systems.Confidence in diagnosing and resolving integration and connectivity issues across platforms.Experience using Git and following good practices around version control and collaboration.Exposure to one or more of the following areas: industrial automation, robotics, IIoT, SaaS platforms or similar partner driven ecosystems.Clear and structured communication style, able to explain technical topics to different audiences, including non engineers.A proactive and accountable way of working, with the ability to drive topics forward independently and keep customer outcomes in focus.Fluency in German and English, spoken and written.Willingness to travel up to 50% of your time within Germany and across Europe. Nice to have,The following are not must haves, but would be a strong plus: Background in pre sales engineering, solution architecture or technical consulting.Experience giving talks, running workshops or delivering technical training.Existing network or visibility in the robotics or automation developer community.
