Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Social media channel management for automotive-related advertising campaigns
• Close collaboration with campaign managers in the Automotive business area
• Advising campaign managers on content, target groups, budget, and campaign setup for Infineon’s social media channels
• Implementation of campaigns and continuous performance optimization
• Measuring success, reporting, and deriving potential improvement
• Supporting automotive communications (PR as well as brand marketing communications) by writing and publishing organic posts on social media channels
• Writing and providing LinkedIn post suggestions for Infineon employees to share on their personal profiles
• Exchanging insights with social media managers from other business areas to further develop the cross-divisional social media strategy
• This position is temporary for 1 year

Your Profile

As part of our Automotive Communications team within Infineon’s Communications and Public Policy department you will be responsible for driving social media performance marketing for automotive products and applications. You will develop and implement strategies to maximize the impact of paid social media campaigns to drive business success and advise stakeholders in Infineon’s Automotive Division. Furthermore, you will turn Infineon’s automotive PR stories into engaging content and amplify them organically through our social media channels. As Senior Specialist Social Media Performance Marketing, you cooperate across boundaries and appreciate the contributions of other people. Furthermore, you have a good sense for current trends and can deduce potential improvements for your own team. Lastly, you actively look for the ideal solution and engage in professional debates with the relevant people, instead of accepting rash compromises.

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Degree in Marketing or Communications
• 1–3 years of professional experience in social media marketing, preferably in a B2B environment
• Strong affinity for data- and performance-driven work
• Knowledge and understanding of the key metrics in social media marketing
• Confident handling of Meta and LinkedIn Business Managers as well as common social media tools
• Strong instinct for engaging content (audiovisual and written)
• Initial experience in copywriting and visual design
• Fluent in English and German
• Analytical mindset, quick comprehension, and a hands‑on approach to implementation
• Confident and persuasive presence when dealing with stakeholders
