Your Responsibilities

All responsibilities relate exclusively to German tax law and German commercial law (HGB).

• Preparation of financial accounting for corporations in accordance with German commercial and tax law and/or payroll processing under German law
• Preparation of management reports, including analysis and reconciliation with clients
• Independent preparation and review of annual financial statements under German commercial law
• Independent preparation of corporate and personal tax returns under German tax law
• Assistance and coordination of tax audits and audits by the German Pension Insurance (Deutsche Rentenversicherung)
• Participation in tax advisory services in accordance with German tax regulations
• Communication with clients and German tax authorities

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a Steuerfachangestellter (m/f/x) and further qualification as Steuerfachwirt (m/f/x) or an officially recognized equivalent qualification in German tax law
• Several years of professional experience in German tax advisory, including independent preparation of financial statements and tax returns
• Proven expertise in German tax law is mandatory
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Good knowledge of MS Office and DATEV applications
• Openness to intercultural collaboration
• Good command of written and spoken English for communication within the team and with clients

Important for Applicants

This position requires in-depth knowledge of German tax law. Applicants with qualifications obtained outside Germany must provide proof of official recognition for professional practice in German tax advisory.
