We are looking for a Senior Tax Expert (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible on a full-time, permanent basis. We live by a remote-first policy, but you can choose whether you want to work hybrid or entirely on-site, depending on your proximity to one of our locations (Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin).

As our new Senior Tax Expert (Tax Advisor), you will have the opportunity to deal with both direct and indirect taxes while working in an exciting international environment.

Become part of a team where everyone counts and act not only as the central point of contact for tax issues within the company, but also take charge of the monthly preparation of sales tax returns in more than 15 different countries and the implementation of OSS and ZM reports.

With us, you will have a wide range of tasks, because in addition to focusing on indirect taxes and related compliance, you will also be responsible for income tax issues within the company. You will receive support from external consultants, whom you can manage independently. In the event of acquisitions, you will provide support in the context of due diligence and subsequent integration.

Due to our international orientation, it would be good if you are interested in continuous development, as tax conditions in the international environment are subject to constant change, but we as a company naturally want to be compliant! In this context, you can draw on a network of experienced consultants.

In addition, we will give you the opportunity to continuously develop yourself through targeted training opportunities.

What convinces us

Your personality, coupled with:

substantial experience in tax consulting, for example through several years of working in a law firm
broad knowledge in the area of sales tax
knowledge of sales tax and income tax groups
good self-organization in connection with deadlines for submitting various sales tax returns in different countries
strong teamwork skills and an analytical, structured, and quality-oriented way of thinking and working
very good German and English skills

What is a plus (but not a requirement):

initial experience in the industry
a tax advisor exam or tax specialist qualification
