Senior UI Designer – Intelligent Cockpit (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced candidate in UXUI Team, advancing GUI visual experience for future Automotive HMI systems.

The ideal candidate will follow a user‑centric approach, meanwhile capture the aesthetic and UI design trend in digital world, convert design philosophies into visual language definitions, key screens, components and motion designs. You will collaborate with UX designers, and drive visual excellence in the graphical user interface design.

Your mission

• To discover and define design opportunities in HMI system, through research findings including digital aesthetic trend, UXUI design trends, technology trends and competitor analysis.
• To propose design directions via moodboard or design language tools for early stage communications.
• To drive visual design philosophy, strategy and language definitions according to product needs.
• To deliver appealing UI design concepts aligned with UX definitions, including high‑fidelity screen designs, UI components, motion effects and so on.
• To sort design language systematically.
• To collaborate with the UX organization and product R&D teams in HQ.

Your areas of expertise

• Master’s or higher degree in UXUI design, multimedia design, industrial design, or other equivalent design disciplines or experience.
• At least 5 years UI‑visual design experience of automotive, mobile and/or other modern digital devices, from initial style definition to UI development phase.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating proven UI‑visual designs on real products or pre‑development programs.
• Proficiency in UI design tools e.g. Figma, video prototyping tools e.g. AE, and/or interactive demo tools and PowerPoint.
• Experience in UI motion effects or micro‑animations.
• Problem‑solving oriented and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good visual presentation and documentation skills.
• Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team and fluent communication skills in English, Mandarin is an advantage.
• Experience of generative AI tools for design creation or process is preferred.
• Willing to travel to China for business trips.
