Senior Windows System Engineer

Nettworx is recruiting exclusively on behalf of an established single-family office in central Switzerland. We’re looking for a Senior System Engineer with a strong Microsoft and Windows background to join a friendly, collaborative IT team.

Your Role

• Take ownership of a broad range of system engineering work across M365 and Windows environments.
• Administer and optimise the company’s Public and Private Clouds (M365, VMware Cloud Director), covering Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Contribute to the evolution of a modern hybrid IT landscape, focusing on scalability, business continuity, and cyber resilience.
• Lead challenging IT projects such as cloud migrations, automation initiatives, and new security solutions with tangible business value.
• Manage and enhance SaaS applications and on-premise systems, ensuring streamlined integrations, license control, and compliance.
• Expand your skills in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Design and deliver internal training programs and drive ongoing knowledge sharing.
• Gain exposure to adjacent areas such as Networking, Security, Servers, and Backup.

Your Profile

• Ideally 5-8+ years of professional experience in System Engineering.
• Further professional education or a degree in IT or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, VMware).
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation to manage systems and cloud services efficiently.
• Experience with databases and development topics is a plus.
• Familiarity with or interest in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Additional experience in IT infrastructure or security areas is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills in both German (very good to fluent) and English (fluent).
