SEO Specialist - German Native (m/f/d)

Organic growth is a key lever, and we are building a more scalable, data-driven SEO and content operation.

Mission

Own German (DE) SEO execution and content support end-to-end. Ensure reliable delivery for German requests while driving measurable improvements through on-page SEO, monitoring and hygiene routines, and selected off-page support. This is an execution-first role with a clear growth path into broader SEO ownership.

What you will own

1) German content and SEO support (primary responsibility)

Own DE intake, prioritization, tracking, and stakeholder communication for SEO and content requests (CRM, commercial team).

Deliver and QA German translations, content updates, and on-page changes with strong consistency and SEO correctness.

Maintain lightweight templates and checklists to reduce rework and make delivery predictable.

2) On-page SEO execution (DE and international collaboration)

Run keyword research and mapping for German page types (category, landing, guide content, and other relevant templates).

Identify and resolve cannibalization risks, duplication patterns, and internal linking gaps.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ship improvements and validate outcomes on all domains.

3) Off-page support (scoped, impact-driven)

Support off-page initiatives by coordinating targets, assets, outreach, and reporting.

Measure outcomes and document learnings (what worked, what did not, what to repeat).

4) SEO monitoring and hygiene ownership

Run scheduled crawls and monitor SEO signals (indexation changes, redirects, duplicates, metadata anomalies, internal linking issues).

Triage monitoring alerts and convert them into a prioritized backlog with clear ownership (SEO, content, Product).

Maintain a simple change log of SEO-relevant releases and content shipments to support diagnosis.

You've got

• Solid understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals.
• Strong written German and the ability to deliver clean, accurate content updates with a consistent, professional tone for business buyers.
• Basic keyword research skills (SEMrush, Google Search Console, or similar tools) and the ability to translate findings into practical actions on category and landing pages.
• A strong learning mindset: you are curious, ask questions, and actively look for better ways to do things.
• A problem-solving attitude: you do not just surface issues, you suggest practical next steps.
• Systems thinking: you like to understand how pages, categories, and processes connect in a marketplace, and you help make them more consistent over time.
• You are reliable in your delivery, keep an overview of your tasks, and communicate clearly with stakeholders about status and next steps.
