Service technician (m/f/d) in the IoT area

We are looking for a dedicated service technician (m/f/d) in the IoT area to support our technical team in the implementation and maintenance of our IoT systems. If you are looking for a varied job, you have come to the right place.

• Support with installation, commissioning and maintenance of IoT systems and devices for our customers (primarily online)
• Diagnosing and resolving technical problems in connection with IoT hardware and software
• Carrying out system tests and error analyses to ensure functionality
• Supporting customers with the integration of IoT solutions into their existing systems
• Creation of technical documentation (e.g. manuals, interface descriptions)
• Support in the further development and optimization of IoT solutions through feedback from the field
• Error analysis and repair of electronic assemblies
• Development, setup and testing of proof-of-concept systems
• Creation of informative and appealing dashboards on behalf of customers

You should bring

• Advanced technical training or studies (also university dropouts with technical training e.g. electronics, mechatronics, IT system electronics, radio and telecommunications technician)
• Ideally experience in the IoT area, PLC, small electronic devices or similar
• Experience with network protocols (e.g. MQTT, LwM2M) and IoT platforms (e.g. Cumulocity IoT, Telekom Cloud of Things) is desirable
• Practical knowledge of installing and maintaining hardware and software systems
• Several years of professional experience
• Analytical way of thinking and solution-oriented work
• Routine handling of the common MS Office programs
