Through impactful projects in three customized assignments—including an eight‑month international placement—you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of our offshore automation team working on grid connection projects, you’ll be an integral part of the project management organization and get to know all key stakeholders. You collaborate with experienced project managers and senior engineers, maintain close contact with technical experts, and engage with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of grid stabilization projects. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real‑world projects and gain hands‑on experience in project planning, execution, and monitoring, while simultaneously contributing to our mission of sustainable development.

  • Work as part of the project team and support coordination with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and delivering project tasks in line with schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks and issues.
  • Contribute to effective communication and collaboration across the project team, line management, and interfacing organizations.
  • Prepare project‑related documentation, reports, and meeting materials to support decision‑making and transparency.

What You Bring

  • Experience in the electric power industry, knowledge of business issues associated with automation or digitalization is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical or commercial issues to peers, clients, and senior managers.
  • Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome.
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in electrical, automation or IT engineering, business administration, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working.
  • Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel.
