Site Quality Manager

Schedule: Monday to Friday (on-site)

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Quality Manager to join a major high-voltage infrastructure substation project in Germany.

This is a key on-site role where you will act as the quality representative throughout the refurbishment project, ensuring all contractual, regulatory, and internal quality requirements are achieved.

As Site Quality Manager, you will lead and coordinate all quality‑related activities during the construction phase, acting as the main interface between the customer, project team, subcontractors, and quality function.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with contractual quality requirements on site.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all quality‑related matters.
• Communicate with the customer on quality status, progress, and issues.
• Manage and track non‑conformities (NCs), complaints, and punch lists.
• Prepare, implement, and maintain the Site Quality Plan.
• Coordinate and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Organise and participate in inspections and quality reviews.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs and report progress.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives.
• Ensure supplier and subcontractor quality compliance.
• Inspect and verify material compliance and storage conditions.
• Support transport damage and insurance cases.
• Ensure complete and accurate quality documentation (drawings, reports, NCs).
• Review and correct documentation where required.
• Prepare and manage final project handover documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in site quality management within construction or high‑voltage projects.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, control processes, and ITPs.
• Experience managing non‑conformities and root cause analysis.
• Confident communicator with experience working with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, on‑site project environment.
