Key responsibilities

System Reliability & Performance

Ensure stability and performance of SAP applications and HANA databases through proactive monitoring and optimization.

Technical Analysis & Troubleshooting

Analyze ABAP development traces and HANA performance metrics using tools such as DB02 and DBACOCKPIT; address issues related to delta merge, column vs. row store, and advanced storage configurations.

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

Manage Kubernetes clusters and optimize deployments for high availability and scalability.

Perform network trace analysis; ensure optimal configuration of TCP protocols, availability zones, and load balancers (ABAP and hyperscaler).

Observability & Monitoring

Implement and maintain dashboards in Grafana, leveraging PromQL and LogQL for advanced monitoring and alerting.

Automation & Scripting

Develop shell scripts and automation workflows to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual intervention.

Drive initiatives for process optimization and reliability engineering best practices across SAP and cloud environments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in analyzing ABAP development traces
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA and HANA Cloud (DB02, DBACOCKPIT, delta merge, column vs. row store)
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Expertise in network systems, including TCP, availability zones, and load balancer configurations
• Advanced experience with Grafana, PromQL, and LogQL
• Skilled in performance analysis and Linux shell scripting
