Social Media Community Manager

About the role:

• We have a proven and polished social media and community strategy, and we’re looking for candidates for Germany.
• You will sit as part of the Marketing team as an expert in customer engagement and content localization.
• Ultimately responsible for the content for Germany social media channels, providing a relevant and localized tone of voice.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage local German user communities (e.g., Facebook Groups, Instagram, Reddit, WhatsApp Communities) to enhance brand loyalty and engagement.
• Collaborate with social media, plan and execute community-driven campaigns (e.g., cleaning challenges, product testing programs) to drive UGC and community activity.
• Actively manage and participate in local German online forums to build product presence, stimulate discussion, and build positive brand and product images.
• Build a structured collaboration with KOCs to amplify brand awareness and product trust through word-of-mouth.
• Support local marketing events such as industry exhibitions, marketing offline campaigns, and themed pop-ups by coordinating community participation and engagement.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in community or digital marketing in the German market, with a strong understanding of local consumer behavior and culture.
• Proficient in using key German social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok Germany, Reddit, WhatsApp).
• Proven track record in community growth, user engagement, and UGC ecosystem building.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with empathy, a high sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and team spirit.
• Strong project management and creative thinking skills with the ability to plan and execute initiatives independently.
• Passion for smart home devices, consumer electronics, or cleaning-related products is a plus.
• Basic design, photography, or video editing skills are a plus.
