SodaStream: General Manager DACH Market

Overview The General Manager DACH reports to the SodaStream CEO. The key responsibility of this person is to drive the growth of the 3 countries, together forming the DACH cluster for Sodastream. Germany is the 2nd biggest Sodastream market with a long history of success. Sodastream is highly penetrated in Germany, and a large market share in CO2. We are looking for a experienced General Manager who can unlock the next level of growth for our business and further professionalize the organization. The responsibilities of GM DACH are broad and include leading a total organization of approximately 100 people across Germany, Switzerland and Austria across all categories of machines, bottles, CO2 and flavors. Key will be to unlock growth in the market, by truly understanding the consumer, shopper and retailers in the region. To fully unlock the potential in the region, the GM will have to further professionalize all functions: with a key focus on sales, supply chain, ecommerce and digital marketing. This candidate will lead the local management team of 6 persons including Marketing, Sales, Logistics Operations, HR and Finance.

Qualifications

Experience in a similar role - managing a market with a similar scale, experience in launching/driving strong business growth

Experience in driving commercial transformations

Experience working with Global Organizations

Marketing and Sales background

Thorough understanding of the local consumer and knowledge of retailer environment

FMCG/Home appliance Commercial/retail experience

E-commerce savvy

Drives for results in the right manner (with the highest sense of urgency)

Organizational leadership and team development (leads through influence)

Strong communication and influencing skills
