Your Impact

You’ll join our Wave team, part of McKinsey Transformation, a global growth platform that helps organizations unlock their full potential through large-scale, holistic transformations. Wave equips clients with the tools to manage improvement programs and track the impact of initiatives against business goals, budgets, and timelines.

Based in Brussels, Madrid, or Cologne office, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across Europe, India, the US, and beyond, serving clients in the EMEA region, with a focus on either Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, or Southern Europe. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, service delivery, management, and client development, to deliver exceptional results.

As a Software Delivery Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful client transformations. Your responsibilities will include leading collaborative workshops and sessions with clients and McKinsey colleagues and translating business needs into technical and functional requirements for the Wave solution. You will act as a trusted advisor on the McKinsey Transformation methodology to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients and build their capabilities to sustain impact.

In addition, you will manage project deliverables, design dashboards, and create tailored solutions to address specific client challenges. You will also serve as the client’s voice, providing feedback to our product team to enhance the Wave platform. Finally, you will contribute to operational improvements, develop new offerings, and drive innovation to continuously enhance the impact of our work.

Your qualifications and skills

• Master’s degree; MBA degree is a plus
• Experience in the field of IT, consulting and/or business intelligence is a plus
• Project management experience, ideally with large cloud implementation programs such as SaaS
• Experience in client service, project management and change management
• Strong solution-oriented mindset and problem-solving skills
• Independent self-management skills and ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects in parallel
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with comfort navigating ambiguity and taking calculated risks
• Willingness to travel occasionally (10-20%), with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model, balancing time between client sites, the office, and remote work as needed to support team and client collaboration
• Strong communications skills to facilitate discussions, deliver presentations and conduct training
• Fluency in English and German or Spanish, both written and verbal is required
