YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You build consumer‑facing software that “just works” in Java
• You are responsible for designing end‑to‑end distributed systems on the cloud
• You build libraries and tools for our microservices ecosystem
• You work on event‑driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You successfully completed your university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline and already gained experience in working in technology environments building cloud‑native applications – ideally in a start‑up dynamic setting
• Language You have development experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Architecture You have already designed distributed systems or you have worked on Microservices architectures
• Platform You have extensive experience in Kubernetes, good understanding of event‑driven platforms, pub‑sub and messaging using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ
• Communication Good communication skills are a matter of course for you
