Software Engineer, Backend - (AdTech)

We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer - Backend for our AdTech tribe. AdTech is a fast-growing, geographically distributed tribe of 10+ squads. We build high-available advertisement solutions for the local delivery market to help vendors attract and retain clients and help users discover new dishes. Our solutions run globally from LATAM to APAC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate backend services within the AdTech tribe to enable local delivery advertising solutions.
• Design and build scalable, high-load, low-latency, and reliable microservices.
• Collaborate in self-sufficient cross-functional squads following the "we build it, we run it" principle.
• Focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend software development
• Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods and best practices
• Experience in designing and optimizing scalable systems
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands on with some cloud provider
• Good communication skills and fluent English
• Strong focus on code quality and testing

Nice to have skills

• Experience with Redis or Elasticsearch
• Hands with Terraform and Helm
• Experience with setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Drone, Spinnaker)
• Familiar with common logging, monitoring, alerting tools such as Datadog, Grafana, etc.
• Experience or curiosity to understand domain business logic and contribute to it
• Experience or curiosity to leverage AI to boost your work
