Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer — Golang to join our Inventory Management team. You will help create and improve next‑generation services that support delivery processes in dark stores and local shop partners worldwide, with products such as groceries, pharmaceuticals, flowers, and more.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to both established and emerging services, continually searching for experimentation opportunities and fostering open communication.
- Define software architecture, and effectively communicate with engineers, product managers, partners, leaders, and diverse stakeholders.
- Build reliable, scalable systems with high concurrency and a willingness to learn new languages and technologies.
- Design and implement global systems used by thousands of people, consistently driving for excellence.
- Work in a goal‑driven environment: build, test, learn from results, and refine your approach.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Golang, specializing in distributed systems and services.
- Hands‑on experience implementing RESTful and/or gRPC services, managing high‑traffic microservices with Kubernetes, and following best practices for inter‑service communication.
- 4+ years of experience on large‑scale applications, with 3+ years in agile environments.
- Professional experience with AWS or GCP, infrastructure management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, software design) with a focus on high‑quality code, automated testing, and best practices.
- High sense of ownership, collaboration, and excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Drone, Spinnaker) and monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, distributed tracing).
- Hands‑on experience with Kafka for real‑time data processing.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, ACID principles, indexing) and event‑driven architecture.
