Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer II, Golang, to join our "Tech Hub Core" team in Tech Foundations vertical on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences to help us build and enhance our next-generation Tech Hub. This central platform is where our engineers, managers, and leaders access information, manage their application lifecycles, and automate key tasks. As a member of the Tech Foundation Team, you’ll support Delivery Hero’s rapid innovation and growth. You’ll work on foundational systems that enable faster feature development, security, and reliability across our global engineering community. Every enhancement you make will contribute to our teams\' ability to build, scale, and deliver quality features—ultimately impacting millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• You will build our Tech Hub and associated integration and automations to help all the tech people in Delivery Hero to access information necessary to their daily work and to automate tasks.
• You will be tasked with writing microservices and backend integrations between Tech Hub and other systems across the company.
• Collaborate on other projects with other DeliveryHero teams, like CI/CD systems, infrastructure, data, ML and more.
• You will aim to have a good understanding of our internal engineers and managers problems to ensure we solve them more effectively, and faster.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience with working experience in Golang, Postgres, and BigQuery.
• Experience working with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud providers, along with a good understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods, and best practices.
• Ability to write unit, behavior, and integration tests for current and new scenarios with clean and well-documented code.
• Comfort with running, maintaining, and deploying your own code to production, and the ability to make independent decisions and take ownership for them beyond deployment.
• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, fault-tolerant, and agile environment on cross-functional teams.
• A love for learning, a commitment to constantly improving your own skills, and a willingness to jump into new things.

Nice to have

• Experience working with React, NodeJS, Typescript, Python
• Experience working with OpenAPI, GraphQL, GRPc
• Experience building agentic and ML powered applications.
