Software Engineer Web Application

Overview

Job Title: Software Engineer Web Application (m/f/d). Location: Stuttgart, Germany. Department: Trimble Field Systems / Survey & Mapping. You will join a front-end focused full stack role in a global tech company that works with geospatial data infrastructure and cloud-based applications. The role involves delivering robust user interfaces, efficient 2D and 3D data handling on the frontend and backend, and seamless integrations into Trimble’s geospatial platform.

What You Will Do

• Develop professional web applications for Trimble Reality Capture Platform.

• Maintain and contribute to a cross-team monorepo with high quality standards.

• Conduct detailed code reviews.

• Cover all code with automated tests.

• Participate in product design and requirements discussions to clarify, refine and prioritize requirements.

• Help polish internal team collaboration processes.

• Be part of a multinational engineering team.

• Collaborate with other hardware and software teams at Trimble on sensors and data including scanning, mobile mapping, and aerial survey.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.

• 3-5 years of professional experience primarily coding front-end applications.

• Highly-motivated, autonomous self-starter with achievement-based drive.

• Excellent English communication skills (written, spoken).

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Experience with monorepos is a plus.

• Experience with WebGL / 3D Graphics and high-performance data visualization is a strong plus.

• Experience with SPA frameworks is a strong plus.

• Experience with server-side languages (e.g., C#) and databases is a plus.

Work Location
