Job Overview

We are seeking Mission Control Systems Operations Engineers to join our proposed service team onsite at EUMETSAT, delivering world-class services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine Mission Control Operations services for the operational mission control systems
• Support the evolution of mission control systems for all EUMETSAT Copernicus missions
• Provide Operations Preparation support of mission control systems, their off-line functions and test tools
• Deliver services, as part of the team, for the commissioning of mission control systems
• On-call support and assistance with anomaly investigation
• Preparation and maintenance of operational documentation

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proven working experience in the operations of spacecraft mission control systems
• Experience in VMware vSphere virtual machines
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
• An advanced level of English is mandatory
