Software Tester (m/f/d)

Location: Wetzlar

Responsibilities

• Planning, creating, and executing manual and automated software tests
• Development, maintenance, and continuous expansion of our test automation
• Creation of test concepts, test cases, and test specifications based on requirements and user stories
• Integration of automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines
• Analysis, documentation, and tracking of defects in close collaboration with the development team
• Supporting the continuous improvement of development and testing processes
• Participating in reviews of requirements, architecture, and code from a quality perspective

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering Informatics, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience and strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., C++, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar)
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools is a plus
• Basic experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is desirable
• Proficiency with version control (e.g., Git) or a willingness to learn
• Initial exposure to regulated environments (e.g., medical technology, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) is a plus
