Solution Consultant, Sr. Principal

Job location: DACH region – home or office based.

Overview As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to prospective customers and internal stakeholders for ERP Finance solutions. You will deliver compelling solution strategies, showcase the value of Infor’s cloud‑based offerings, and align with customers’ industry‑specific business goals. The role requires advanced knowledge of finance processes, deep understanding of enterprise software solutions, and the ability to translate complex challenges into clear, achievable outcomes using Infor technology. You will lead the solution vision in strategic sales opportunities and mentor other consultants across the region.

Responsibilities

Act as the financial solution architect on sales opportunities, defining the overall financial solution and approach in alignment with the sales team.

Support the sales cycle with inspiring, engaging presentations covering Infor capabilities and, when needed, contribute to RFx responses.

Provide solution consulting support for marketing events and conferences.

Collaborate with account teams to plan account strategies and market approaches.

Participate in demo system design and planning; assist with configuration if required.

Serve as a champion for assigned industry‑based product functionality and share knowledge with colleagues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related discipline.

Experience with cloud‑based enterprise software applications/solutions; knowledge of Infor M3 is a distinct advantage.

Proven solution‑consulting experience, with consideration for relevant product knowledge from implementation or project environments.

Good understanding of typical operational and financial business processes and requirements, preferably in key industries such as Distribution and Food & Beverage.

Strong leadership, collaboration and mentoring skills to contribute to account/opportunity strategies.

Open to learning new technologies and applying them in business contexts.

Outstanding presentation and communication skills.

Fluency in English and German, both verbal and written.
