You Are:

You are a passionate engineering professional with a strong background in digital IC design and a deep understanding of Design for Test (DFT) methodologies. Your hands‑on experience with RTL coding, DFT insertion, ATPG, and MBIST architecture sets you apart as a subject matter expert. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering comprehensive DFT solutions to customers designing digital ICs of varying complexity, from integration through silicon bring‑up.
  • Providing technical expertise during design planning, budgeting, and implementation phases for test solutions.
  • Implementing and validating DFT solutions for Scan/MBIST/1687, including architecture planning, pattern generation, silicon bring‑up, and diagnostics analysis.
  • Participating in customer design and flow reviews to understand methodologies and propose improvements.
  • Prototyping, developing, and driving new DFT methodologies, collaborating closely with solution architects.
  • Offering high‑level technical support, including problem resolution, training, and account management to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking to win new customers and expand Synopsys’ market presence.
  • Analyzing data, identifying the viability of new technologies, and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) with 7+ years, or Master’s degree (MS) with 5+ years of experience in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Hands‑on experience with RTL coding, DFT insertion, ATPG, IEEE standards, MBIST concepts, and silicon bring‑up.
  • In‑depth knowledge of scan architectures, fault models, pattern generation, simulation, test access networks and scan flows.
  • Proven ability to handle scan for large, complex SoCs with multiple IPs.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and protocols such as IEEE 1149.1, 1500, and 1687.
  • Exposure to MBIST in automotive design environments is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
