Your Role

Your Role — As a Sourcing Manager Cost Optimization & Strategic Supplier Management you take ownership of driving cost-reduction initiatives and building strong long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers. You play a key role in improving profitability and competitiveness by combining technical understanding with commercial excellence in a manufacturing-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Drive structured cost-out and value engineering initiatives across the supply chain
Develop manage and strengthen strategic supplier relationships
Lead negotiations including should-cost analyses and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations
Work closely with Engineering Operations and Finance to align sourcing strategies with technical and business requirements
Identify opportunities for cost optimization while ensuring quality performance and supply reliability

Your Profile:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial or similar)
Around 8-10 years of experience in sourcing procurement or supply chain management within mechanical engineering or a technical environment
Strong track record in cost optimization negotiations and supplier management
Excellent analytical technical and commercial skills
German language skills are a strong advantage
