Job mission:
As Specialist Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP), you ensure accurate, efficient, and scalable processing of incoming and outgoing invoices in a dynamic digital mobility environment.
With a primary focus on Accounts Receivable, you manage billing, receivables, and revenue-related processes for subscription-based digital services and EV charging solutions across multiple European markets. You translate innovative connected car business models into reliable financial operations.
Through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you contribute to compliant (HGB), transparent, and future-ready finance processes that support the sustainable growth of our digital service portfolio.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage billing for digital subscription and charging services across multiple European markets
Issue and verify invoices in line with contracts and pricing models
Oversee recurring billing cycles, renewals, cancellations, and usage-based models
Process and reconcile high-volume transactions (including micro-payments and bundled services)
Monitor receivables, conduct aging analyses, and support collection activities
Maintain accurate customer master data
Reconcile AR sub-ledgers and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Support revenue recognition in line with HGB and internal policies
Post transactions in SAP and contribute to month-end closing and reporting
Verify and post vendor invoices
Support payment runs and vendor reconciliations
Maintain vendor master data in line with internal controls
Assist with discrepancy resolution and closing activities
Ensure compliance with HGB and internal accounting standards
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Prepare documentation for audits
Contribute to process optimization and automation initiatives within AR/AP
Your talents:
Education:
Completed commercial education (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau, Finance-related apprenticeship) or equivalent qualification
Additional training in accounting or tax (e.g., Finanzbuchhalter) beneficial
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable, preferably in an international environment
Experience with SAP FI preferred
Skills & Knowledge & Competencies:
Solid understanding of accounting principles (HGB)
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to analyse transactional data and resolve discrepancies
Dependable, precise, and attentive to detail
Excellent organizational abilities and effective time management
Capable of working independently as well as collaborating within a team
Focused on finding solutions and communicates proactively
Adept at handling high volumes of transactions and meeting strict deadlines
