Tasks

• Creation of prototype constructions based on hand sketches
• Creation of cables based on hand sketches
• Prototype production of electronic assemblies according to drawings, circuit diagrams, and parts lists
• Prototype production of cables according to drawings, circuit diagrams, and parts lists
• Implementation of changes to electronic assemblies according to drawing documents
• Implementation of changes to cables according to drawing documents
• Making changes to devices based on drawing documents
• Performing customer repairs on special technical constructions (e.g., demonstrators)
• Creating or reviewing production documents with regard to production-oriented design
• Performing practical feasibility tests in the area of cable, electronics, and device production
• Preparation of implementation proposals in the areas of assembly and connection technology, device technology, and testing aids
• Participation in the auditing of suppliers and in the evaluation of deliveries with regard to manufacturing quality
• Preparation of decision templates for the procurement of tools and equipment for the development workshops

Requirements

• Completed training as an electronics technician with further training as a master craftsman/technician or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of metalworking and the use of cutting machines, as well as assembly and connection technology
• Good knowledge of SAP ERP and MS Office
• Good knowledge of relevant standards (IPC)
• Good English and German skills
• Strong manual dexterity
• Goal-oriented and independent way of working, as well as openness and ability to work in a team
