Specialist New Product Sourcing (m/w/d)

Hydro Extrusions is a world-leading aluminium extrusion business counting around 100 production sites in 40 countries and employing 20,000 people. Through our unique combination of local expertise, global network, and unmatched R&D capabilities, we can offer everything from standard profiles, to advanced development and manufacturing for most industries.

Purpose

Ensure that newly sourced products meet company requirements in terms of cost, quality, lead time and technical feasibility , in close cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders, in line with safety, environmental and Hydro rules .

Key Activities

Select and assess suppliers for new products.
Manage RFQs, supplier communication and follow-ups.
Support negotiations together with Category Managers.
Work with R&D on new product development and PLM follow-up.
Coordinate samples, tooling needs and purchase orders in SAP.
Track deadlines, supplier commitments and project status.
Ensure accurate reporting and administrative follow-up.

Profile

Commercial or technical education (Bachelor level or equivalent).
First experience in purchasing or supply chain.
Good knowledge of SAP and MS Excel.
PLM knowledge is an advantage.
Good level of English.
Structured, proactive and team-oriented mindset.
