(Sr.) ENGINEER HOMOLOGATION - REGULATION (M/F/D)

To start shortly, we are currently seeking an (Sr.) Engineer Homologation - Regulation (M/F/D).

You will be responsible for

• Coordination of type approval related activities with internal development departments and with technical services
• Interpretation of legal requirements relevant for the vehicle type approval
• Monitoring of new type approval provisions and their changes
• Preparation and participation in type approval tests
• Consultancy in the field of CoP
• Coordination of ISC/ISV related activities with internal departments
• Close cooperation with HMETC departments, our regional Headquarters and our R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea)

Who we are looking for

• Degree in mechanical/automotive engineering or comparable
• Experience in the field of homologation, type approval or vehicle regulations
• Experience with the interpretation of vehicle regulations
• Analytical way of working and interdisciplinary way of thinking
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
• A good command of English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
