Position Summary

Fortinet EMEA Labs is looking for a seasoned Full‑Stack Developer with an interest in networking and cybersecurity. You will join our lab engineering team and help build robust, scalable, and user‑friendly applications from designing intuitive front‑end interfaces to architect efficient back‑end systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and loves collaborating across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies


• Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high‑impact features


• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services


• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across devices


• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code


• Provide technical solutions, including development, testing and documentation of application modules


• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems

Skills and Attributes Requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills


• Proficiency in front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js)


• Strong back‑end experience with languages such as Node.js or Python


• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)


• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities


• Attention to detail

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field


• 5+ years of experience in full‑stack development


• Proficiency in both English and German (written and spoken)
