Oviva WorkFromHome

Stellenbeschreibung:

Overview

At Oviva, we’re on a mission to make sustainable, personalized, clinically effective care accessible to everyone and to deliver against our vision of becoming Europe’s leading AI-powered chronic care platform.

Our digital programmes support people living with weight related illnesses. While weight loss is a goal for many, our approach is about so much more: improving health, building confidence, and enhancing quality of life.

We’ve already supported over one million people across the UK, Switzerland, Germany, and Poland – and we’re just getting started. Every conversation, coaching session, and line of code brings us closer to a healthier future. Join us, and be part of the team making that future possible.

The role

We are seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to play a senior technical role within our mobile engineering team. As a central contributor to our patient-facing apps, you will help shape the future of our mobile platforms.

You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and QA teams in an agile squad to develop new features, maintain high-quality code, and explore emerging technologies that could enhance our impact – all while living Oviva’s values:

We put the patient first. We empower our teams. We make it happen.

Job requirements

You’re a technical expert, mentor, and team player who brings curiosity and structure to everything you do.

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong iOS focus.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Swift and deep understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, Coordinator).
  • Familiarity with modern Apple frameworks (SwiftUI, Combine, UIKit, iOS SDK).
  • Comfortable navigating the full app lifecycle – from product discovery to App Store release.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
  • You lead with humility and foster a supportive, inclusive engineering culture.
  • Enthusiastic about the application of AI and new tech in healthcare.
  • Interest in writing higher-order tests (integration, UI, end-to-end).

Job responsibilities

As a part of the team, you would:

  • Design, build, and maintain key features in our iOS apps using Swift and modern frameworks like SwiftUI, Combine, and Concurrency.
  • Translate product requirements into well-engineered, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Drive high-quality technical design, architecture, and code standards within your squad.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure an intuitive and robust patient experience.
  • Investigate and resolve bugs, conducting root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
  • Take a leading role in sprint ceremonies, OKR planning, and product discovery.
  • A fast-paced, rewarding role in a purpose-driven, high-growth environment.
  • Flexible, hybrid working and home office support.
  • Ongoing learning with a personal development budget and growth opportunities.
  • Competitive salary and company pension to support your future.
  • Enhanced parental leave – because family matters.

Having a culture that people want to work in, is very important to us. We do this by keeping our values at the forefront of everything we do:

We put the patient first, We empower our teams, We make it happen

Oviva is passionate about creating an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees. We are a truly inclusive place to work, where everyone can be themselves and everyone is welcome. We actively seek out candidates who bring a unique perspective to help us build a stronger, more inclusive team.
