This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Software Engineer, Staff, you will be responsible for:

• Architecting, developing, and maintaining software applications for advanced medical diagnostics and automation systems.
• Contributing to an Agile Development environment, focusing on continuous improvement of software quality and development processes.
• Leveraging your technical expertise and leadership to assess the technical feasibility of innovative ideas and presenting them to stakeholders.
• Collecting and analyzing technical data to support the performance and quality characteristics of field systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple locations, including but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering.

• Skilled in architecting, designing, and developing reusable and scalable software applications.
• Proficient in developing and debugging multi-threaded applications.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, system-level architecture, and design.
• Experienced in reviewing complex standards, specifications, and other documentation to determine software engineering requirements, and responsible for generating software technical documentation.
• Possess a quality-oriented mindset with knowledge of static and dynamic code analysis, unit and component testing, code complexity, and simulation and modeling tools.
• Experienced working in an Agile development environment with a solid understanding of git/TFS.
• Proven ability to apply critical thinking and data-driven investigation skills to resolve complex cross-functional engineering issues successfully.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, Advanced degree may be substituted for experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of multithreaded software application development with C++ in Windows
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design principles
• Familiarity with embedded systems and Linux-RT or other real time operating systems (RTOS)
• Experience with communication protocols such as CANOpen is a plus
• Experience in log analytics, system monitoring, and dashboarding will be a huge plus.
• Open minded, team player and passion to succeed.
• Willing to travel up to 20%

The base pay range for this position is:

Min $143,900 - Max $215,860

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
