Tasks: Development and application of model-based methods in drug research (e.g. quantitative pharmacological models). Development and analysis of mechanistic models for investigating biological and pharmacological mechanisms of action. Conducting simulations of virtual patient cohorts to evaluate therapeutic effects and variability. Supporting dosage and therapy strategies through model-based analyses. Contributing to the optimisation of clinical trials (e.g. dosage, regimen, study design). Using programming and analysis tools (e.g. R, Python, Matlab) for modelling and data-driven analyses.
Qualifications: PhD or Master's degree in pharmacometrics, quantitative systems pharmacology, systems biology or related fields. Extensive experience in mechanistic modelling of biological systems (including differential equations). Experience in statistical modelling and quantitative analysis of clinical and preclinical data. Programming and modelling with R, Python and Matlab Practical experience in drug development and support for dose and study design decisions Business fluent in English, German Skills
