For our Executive Board Member Operations & Logistics we are looking for a Strategic Assistant (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Mannheim .

The Strategic Assistant acts as a trusted sparring partner to the to the Executive Board Member Operations & Logistics. The role combines executive coordination, strategic analysis, and hands-on project support, thus enabling fact-based decision‑making and effective execution across the PHOENIX group.

Your Responsibility

  • Support the Executive Board Member in all business matters: You deliver robust analyses, develop innovative concepts, and provide pragmatic solutions for challenges in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Take ownership of coordinating and creating presentations for leadership meetings as well as external events.
  • Act as a central point of contact between corporate departments and local leadership teams within the PHOENIX Group.
  • Lead or support group-wide, interdepartmental projects in operative business and strategic areas.
  • Recognize focus points, opportunities & risks for business on the basis of market and KPI analysis.
  • Report directly to the Executive Board Member Operations & Logistics of PHOENIX group.

Your Profile

  • At least three to five years of professional experience; a background in consulting or logistics, or previous employment within the healthcare sector, as well as leadership experience is considered advantageous.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and works independently towards objectives.
  • Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Professional and approachable demeanour, with absolute reliability and discretion when handling confidential matters related to senior management.
  • High level of dedication, adaptability, and assertiveness.
  • Prepared for European wide business travel.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Italian and/or German is an asset.
