Strategic Business Development Manager – Data Centres & Critical Infrastructure (Germany/Europe)

To strengthen our position within the rapidly expanding data centre market, we are seeking a commercially strategic professional to drive structured growth initiatives across Germany and Europe.

This is not a traditional sales role. It is a strategic growth position focused on market intelligence, early-stage opportunity identification, and long-term infrastructure partnerships.

Your Mission

You will identify and shape growth opportunities within the German and European data centre market.

You will operate at the intersection of:

• Critical infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse developments within the data centre sector (new builds, expansions, regulatory changes, investment trends)
• Build and maintain a structured market and competitor overview
• Identify and prioritise strategic target accounts
• Initiate first discussions with prospective clients and conduct discovery conversations
• Prepare high-level briefings for senior internal stakeholders
• Build and manage a structured opportunity pipeline
• Coordinate handover of qualified opportunities to regional and global sales teams
• Represent Securitas at relevant industry events
• Provide regular insights and strategic reporting to management

Your Profile

• Experience in strategic business development, market development or infrastructure-related commercial roles
• Experience within data centres, critical infrastructure, construction, energy or a comparable B2B project environment is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and structured working approach
• Confident in CRM systems and analytical tools (Excel, ideally Power BI)
• Fluent German and English (C1 level)
• Willingness to travel across Germany and Europe (approx. 10–20%)
