Strategic Buyer- IT Hardware

The Strategic Purchaser will take responsibility for end-to-end procurement activities in the IT hardware commodity group.

The role is mostly remote with occasional visit to their office in Berlin.

The role is under Arbeitnehmeruberlassung contract for 18 months initially.

The role requires fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities

Development and implementation of commodity strategies in the IT hardware segment

Execution of procurement tenders and conducting supplier negotiations

Coordination of contract management activities

Responsibility for supplier management – organising and conducting supplier visits, supplier development initiatives

Conducting market analyses on suppliers and emerging developments/trends in the IT hardware sector

Participation in cross‑functional teams , including as specialist sub‑project lead for procurement topics

Preparation of decision‑making documents and management presentations
