About the Role: Strategic Finance Intern - Capital Allocation & Growth
Are you a highly motivated and analytical individual eager to shape how capital is deployed in a fast-growing tech company? Impossible Cloud is seeking a Strategic Finance Intern - Capital Allocation & Growth to join our lean, high-impact Finance team. This role goes beyond traditional financial analysis: you will work at the intersection of capital allocation, growth efficiency, and advanced financial tooling, directly supporting leadership in making high-stakes investment decisions that drive sustainable scale and prepare the company for future funding rounds.
What you will do:
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into key growth and efficiency metrics , including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and related unit economics, identifying inefficiencies and levers for improvement.
- Architect and support the development of an AI-driven financial tech stack that enables predictive insights into growth performance and real-time, data-backed capital allocation decisions.
- Contribute to the financial narrative and analytical materials used by leadership and investors to articulate how capital fuels scalable, efficient growth.
- Drive the non-dilutive capital strategy by executing complex grant applications, utilizing subsidies to optimize our overall cost of capital.
- Support ad-hoc strategic analyses and special projects to inform executive decision-making.
What you bring to the table:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect financial data to strategic business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with financial planning principles, business KPIs (especially in SaaS/tech), and basic accounting concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
