As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a long-term addition to our team at our German subsidiary, H&T Rechargeable Solutions GmbH (HRS), in Marsberg in the Sauerland region.

In this role, you’ll drive strategic sourcing with a strong international focus —working closely with key customers in Korea and our internal sites in Germany and the US to ensure supplier readiness, cost competitiveness, and compliance.

What you’ll do - your impact:

• Own the Supplier Approval & Qualification process (NDAs, questionnaires, audits with SQA, supplier handover to local SCM)
• Lead price negotiations and negotiate supply agreements
• Support supplier onboarding and readiness through APQP / PPAP
• Run market analyses and execute RFQs for strategic production material and equipment
• Maintain global databases (price database, supplier capability database, SRM file)
• Drive annual supplier performance reviews (scorecards), define corrective actions, and follow up implementation
• Monitor international trade regulations (US/EU import topics incl. CBAM etc.) and develop risk mitigation plans
• Interface with production sites, ensure early involvement of Strategic Purchasing & suppliers, and support escalations

What you bring

• Solid experience in strategic purchasing / sourcing in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Know-how in APQP/PPAP and cross-functional project work
• Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities
• Cross-cultural experience working between the US, Europe, and Asia (Korea)
• Korean and English (fluent or native - both must-have) ; German is a plus
