Your Role And Responsibilities Are you looking for an internship to apply and grow your software development skills? Our team is looking for students developing product components, prototypes, and test components for IBM Knowledge Catalog on prem, and as Software as a Service. IBM Knowledge Catalog is a solution for data management and data governance which is used by many large customers around the world. Join us as a student ( intern or working student ) to learn about professional software delopment using state of the art technologies and work with team members across the globe. The team owns the entire software development lifecycle, from co-creating designs with the user experience team and working out the technical solution with architects, to implementation, code reviews, test automation and regular deployments to public cloud. We are using state-of-the-art tools and technologies and collaborate across products and countries in a vibrant development community. We work with our users, often being the world’s largest companies, on making sure that our user interfaces take them to a completely new level. Preferred Education Pre-University Qualification Required Technical And Professional Expertise Good practical understanding and some experience of software development in Java and JUnit test development Basic understanding of microservice architecture and REST APIs Basic understanding of development and build tools like GitHub etc. Good knowledge of the english language Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes Basic understanding of Jenkins Good knowledge of the german language
